Ktrend â African Journal of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science (AJMSCS)
Thank you for considering AJMSCS as a venue for publishing your research. The journal publishes high-quality original research articles, review papers, short communications, technical notes, case studies, and computational studies in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Sciences, and related disciplines.
Authors are encouraged to carefully read and follow these guidelines before submitting manuscripts.
đ 1. Scope of the Journal
The journal welcomes submissions in, but not limited to, the following areas:

- Computational and Experimental Studies
All submissions must be original and must not be under consideration elsewhere.
đ 3. Manuscript Preparation
Authors should prepare manuscripts in clear and concise English. The manuscript should contain:
- Title
- Author Names and Affiliations
- Corresponding Author Email
- Abstract of 150â300 words
- Keywords, usually 3â8 keywords
- Introduction
- Literature Review, where applicable
- Methodology
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgements, optional
- References
đ 4. Formatting Requirements
Preferred Format
The journal strongly encourages authors to submit manuscripts prepared in LaTeX together with a compiled PDF file.
Accepted submission formats include:
- LaTeX Source Files (.tex)
- Compiled PDF Files (.pdf)
- ZIP Package containing LaTeX source, figures, and bibliography files
Microsoft Word Submissions
Authors may submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). However, all accepted papers are published using professional LaTeX typesetting.
Important Notice
Authors who submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word format may be required to pay an additional LaTeX Typesetting Fee for conversion of the manuscript from Word to LaTeX.
The typesetting fee depends on manuscript length, mathematical complexity, number of equations, tables, figures, and reference formatting requirements.
Authors who submit ready-to-publish LaTeX source files may not be charged this additional typesetting fee.
â 5. Mathematical Expressions
All mathematical expressions should be clearly written and properly numbered where necessary.
- Equations should be editable and not submitted as images.
- Symbols must be clearly defined.
- Variables should be consistently used throughout the manuscript.
- Authors may use LaTeX syntax for mathematical expressions.
Display example: $$ \int_a^b f(x)\,dx $$

- Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively.
- Each figure must have a caption.
- Images should be high-resolution.
- Authors must obtain permission for copyrighted materials.
Accepted formats include PNG, JPG, PDF, and EPS.

The journal uses a numbered citation style.
In-text citation: [1], [2], [3]
Reference list examples:
[1] Author Name, Title, Journal Name, Volume(Issue), Pages, Year.
[2] Author Name, Book Title, Publisher, Year.
Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all references.

AJMSCS maintains a strict plagiarism policy.
- Manuscripts must be original.
- Proper citation of sources is mandatory.
- Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and duplicate submissions are prohibited.
Manuscripts found to contain significant plagiarism may be rejected immediately.

All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process.

The editorial decision is final.

Authors must:
- Submit original work.
- Accurately present research findings.
- Disclose conflicts of interest.
- Properly acknowledge funding sources.
- Obtain necessary ethical approvals where applicable.
The journal follows internationally accepted publication ethics standards.

Accepted manuscripts may be subject to:

- Optional LaTeX Typesetting Fee for Word submissions
Current fees are communicated to authors upon acceptance.
Publication fees help support editorial management, peer review administration, DOI registration, website maintenance, long-term digital archiving, professional typesetting, and publication.
đ 12. Copyright and Open Access
Authors retain copyright of their work. By publishing in AJMSCS, authors grant the journal the right to publish, distribute, and archive the article.
All published articles are made freely available to readers under the journal's open-access policy.
